Stuffing too many keywords can also cause issues, you have to tread carefully with Google 👍🏼

Any business edits you make to your profile can have a negative effect depending on what is done but I’m talking about the edits to your categories, services, opening hours locations.

Making posts is fine as long as you are hitting all the right keywords for your business. The photo file names should be edited to your business name, job type & location. You should be using a cta button when sharing your updates & make sure not to share anything that can cause Google to see you as spammy & suspend you

You can (and should) also be adding videos to the updates as long as they are under 75mb and under 60 seconds long 👍🏼

We would also do photo updates for you taken from the update form, have you been doing those yourself?

When you have been adding your weekly update posts have you been editing the file name and also sharing into the photo section?

and unfortunately whenever you update the profile in terms of business details, google sees that as a refresh, so that will have had an affect if certain things have been changed

It was not an automated response at all, that’s exactly what I wanted to say. And I’m certainly not saying you won’t get results, I’m saying the time it takes can vary as well as many other things with organic

Hi Bryn, A lot of that does look like a fairly generic/generated audit and I think some of it is over analysing things a bit, so I wouldn’t be too concerned. The site definitely isn’t bad, especially considering it’s an older build that was originally migrated over from GHL. That said, there are definitely areas we can improve over time such as local SEO targeting, stronger calls to action, more personality/trust throughout the site and improving the overall customer journey. I think one of the best next steps would be adding a blog page to the site. This would allow us to start adding fresh SEO content targeting specific services and areas which can really help improve visibility in Google over time.
