    Hi Zach, I spoke with Emily over WhatsApp and I've kicked off the transfer on our side. I'm setting up an account for you and will share the login details once everything is in place. Once the domain is transferred and the website is live, we'll swap the email address to yours and share the credentials so you can get full access. The domain is registered in your name. The next renewal payment will be on 27 May 2027, around £13, through GoDaddy. I registered it there because they also give a free year of domain when you transfer to them, which is a nice bonus. The transfer itself can take up to 7 days, though sometimes it's instant.     Hi, Great, I'll give Emily a call and find out what she needs to get the domain transferred. We'll likely need to create an account with your email, since the domain is currently sitting in their account alongside all their other domains. The transfer itself can take a few days, but in the meantime we can get them to update a setting so we can point your domain to your website straight away, without waiting for the transfer to finish.     Hi Zach, They don't have an email address, only a phone number, and calling them directly they likely wouldn't share anything with me. So what I did is use their contact form and put in your details, your email and phone number, with a message asking them for the domain credentials. They'll most likely call you or email you to confirm you actually want to share those with us. Just keep an eye on your phone and email in case they get back to you, and once you have the credentials, pass them our way. Thanks! Cheers, Serg

    Hi Zach, So Matt, who you probably sent the details to, is on holiday for a few days and he didn't leave any notes about this. Can you share the company's details with me? I'll reach out to them and add you in CC. Just so you know, from experience these companies usually won't hand over client credentials to someone external, which is totally normal. They'll want the request to come from you, the actual domain owner. So what I'll do is email them, CC you in, and basically say "here's Zach, can you send him the credentials so he can pass them on to us." That's the standard process most companies follow, and you can probably see why.     The biggest SEO win though is project pages. What actually ranks now, including on AI search tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI results, is real content tied to a specific location. A page like "Bathroom refit in Whetstone" with a few photos and a short write-up of the job genuinely ranks for searches like "bathroom installer Whetstone." A footer mention says you work there. A project page proves it. So what we'd suggest going forward: every time you finish a job in a new area, send us 3–5 photos and a few lines about the work. We'll turn it into a proper project page. Over a few months you'll build up a solid library that Google and AI search will pick up. The key is that each page needs to be based on a real job with real details, not a template, otherwise Google can penalize it. Le...

    On the locations, before we update them we wanted to share a quick thought, because the way Google handles location content has changed a lot. For the footer, we'd actually recommend keeping it to around 7–9 of your strongest areas rather than listing 25+ villages. Long footer lists used to help with SEO but Google has devalued them, and they just make the footer look cluttered. For the contact page, that's the right place for a bigger list. We can add 25–30 villages there as clean clickable pills. People on the contact page are already thinking about booking, so seeing their village listed is reassuring.

    Hi Zack, Sorry for the late reply! We saw your email. Updating the footer address to the new one is no problem at all. Two quick questions while we're at it: do you have any social media accounts you'd like us to add? And do you have any videos for the site? A video section on the homepage works really well, especially before/after clips or footage of your process.
